Patient Testimonial – CM

So Happy with Sharing Smiles we were always seen on time, consulted about what would happen next. All the staff are very friendly, professional.
Thanks for everything you have done, what a great result and most of all my niece who hated Smiling, 18 months later can’t stop smiling!

BDA Good Practice 13th year running

Sharing Smiles is pleased to announce that we have been awarded Membership of the BDA Good Practice Scheme for the 13th year running. The Good practice scheme recognises high standards in the dentistry.
By becoming members of the Scheme, practices demonstrate a visible commitment to providing quality dental care to nationally recognised standards. Practices taking part are kept up-to-date with current requirements in order to provide the best care for their patients.

Toothbrush Care

Change your toothbrush at least every 3months . Always rinse your toothbrush with water after brushing. Store your toothbrush in an upright position and allow it to air dry until using it again. Avoid covering your toothbrush regularly or store them in closed containers as it can encourage the growth of bacteria

Brushing your teeth with braces

We recommend that patients use an interdental brush as well as their normal brush to clean in between their brackets stuck on the teeth and the archwire. Its also a good idea to use disclosing tablets regularly to ensure that the brushing is the highest standard possible which is required to undergo orthodontic treatment. These are available to purchase at the surgery.

Colours for your braces?

The most popular question we get asked when patients have their braces fitted is “can we have a colour on the brace?” The answer to this is Yes! We have many colours available to choose from and for the more adventurous you can even choose a colour combination! Of course if you do not want a colour that is fine also.
