IF YOUR SCHOOL/WORK HAS TOLD YOU TO SELF ISOLATE, THEN DO NOT ATTEND THE PRACTICE. WE WILL BE UNABLE TO SEE YOU AND YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE AND REBOOK. WE ARE FOLLOWING ALL GOVERNMENT AND NHS GUIDANCE TO KEEP OUR STAFF AND PATIENTS SAFE SO THAT THE SURGERY CAN STAY OPEN.
If you answer YES to any of the questions below, please DO NOT ATTEND the surgery instead call or email to rebook.
1. Have you had a fever/high temperature in the last 7 days ( ABOVE 37.8)
2. A new or continuous cough
3. A loss of taste or smell
4. Have you or anyone in your household been confirmed COVID 19 positive in the last 14 days.
You will asked these questions again when you come for your appointment.
Please only attend at your appointment time so that we can limit the number of people in the waiting area. Only one other person will be allowed into the building with you and we would recommend this person to be under 70yrs of age. Your accompanying person will only be allowed in the waiting room, we are asking that patients come into the treatment room alone. Again this is to limit the amount of contact our staff receive during the day.
You may enter 5 minutes before your appointment if you enter any earlier you may be asked to wait outside.
The street level door will be locked from 1.30pm-2.25pm for the surgery lunch break.
Please keep a two meter distance when attending the practice we have signs displayed throughout the practice regarding the procedures we are following and it is important the social distancing rules are followed as much as possible.
There will be alcohol gel sanitizer in the waiting room please use this upon entry and exit of the building. Patients may wash their hands when they enter the surgery.
Our receptionist staff will be wearing visors and masks at the desk. Upon arrival please do not step over the line when checking in and stay on the marked area.
We are only accepting card payments at the moment.
The appointment times will be staggered to allow more time for cleaning.
Our clinical staff will be wearing full PPE at all times in the surgery.
There are no toilet facilities available for the patients at all.
Thank you for your cooperation at this difficult time.
